How to Start a Grill in Mexico

Sunday afternoon, Jorge and I hung out with our friends Missey (an American) and Miguel (a Mexican). Missey and I have both been living in Cancun for several years, and she taught me a few “only in Mexico” tricks for lunch.

  1. Oh in Mexico we really recycle since before the whole going green. We use the Mole containers and the veladora glasses and anything we can use to store our salsas or leftovers haha.

  2. Oooohhhh!!! I love that water jug idea! I’m going to have to try that next time we go to el rancho. 🙂

    Using the hairdryer to stoke the fire is too funny, and pretty ingenious. 🙂

  3. I like the hairdryer idea, but I’m usually at least several miles from the nearest electrical outlet when I’m trying to start a fire.
